Tokyo and Lost in Translation
I was born in the countryside surrounded by mountains in Hiroshima.
To determine the direction, I look at the shape of the mountains.
I came to Tokyo at the age of 18.
There were no mountains in Tokyo.
But there were a lot of architectures in Tokyo.
I didn't get lost in Tokyo by remembering the architectures.
It is similar to the act of walking to see the trees in the mountains.
Easy to walk on the old paths in mountains.
Because those paths that people made for walking.
People built the architectures.
And roads were made between architectures.
Tokyo has a lot of roads like this.
Many people gather around the roads.
I think these roads are very Asian oriented.
